Effects of Junk food

Many of us when at colleges, institutes, works, and on tours, we usually don’t get an ample of time to cook and eat. So, obviously we will be dependent on fast food. We take  these items; burgers, momos, pizzas, noodles, hotdogs, sandwiches, and lot more of similar types as part of our meal mostly.

You know! I am never a strong guy with attractive figure; this made me to Google and see what I am eating is nutritious enough to keep me healthy.

I found out that these all types of foods are termed as junk foods, which do not contain essential nutrients for our body. It contains lot of fats, cholesterol and carbohydrates. If you are beautiful angel, with slim looks, who don’t want to be plump out, then you should immediately stop taking junk food as a part of your meal.

If one’s life is not healthier, then there isn't any point in studying and being much successful and wealthier. We should be aware of our health, and take good care of it by eating healthy, nutritious food and by not getting addicted to drugs and all. 

I am sure, if you are in college, then noodles (esp: maggi) and junk food would be your meal most of the time, but have you ever realized whether your body is getting required amount of nutrition to keep yourself healthy, and away from many diseases related with diet. 

Here are few diseases I have read out related with junk foods, fast foods and unhealthy street foods:
  •  Lack of energy.
  • Poor concentration.
  • Heart related diseases.
  • Liver failure.
  •  Diabetes.
  •  High cholesterol.
I can’t explain you, how junk food causes all this diseases since I don’t remember what I have read, and moreover I am not a medical student, but if you wish to know, for your convenience and easiness you can know more about it from Google.

But eating junk food sometime isn’t bad or harmful; we just should not replace it for our normal meal.

Finally, I feel to mention that, there are many children dying because of starvation and hunger. For them any food, junk or whatever will be a life for them. If they read my post, I am sure they will scoff at me. 
But it’s for you, the readers, who have a choice, who want to keep oneself healthy with proper diet, having proper nutrition, vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

  1. I like Junk food and this is certainly one reason I am now growing fat. It is not nutritious but the growing size is telling me something.
